History of Fraser Edmundston Golf Club

The roots of Fraser Edmundston Golf Club stretch back to 1926, when a group of passionate golfers came together to establish a modest course on a section of the Madawaska River basin. Over the years, the vision for a more sophisticated course grew, and in 1947, renowned course architect Albert Murray was commissioned to design the now-celebrated 18-hole layout. His thoughtful design incorporated the natural contours of the landscape, resulting in a course that blends seamlessly with the surrounding beauty.
